Hi, I’m Mehedi Hasan
Software Engineer | Master's in Computer Science @ University of New Haven I build systems that scale. From cloud infrastructure that handles production workloads to ML models that power real-world applications, I focus on shipping reliable, performant software that matters.
What I Build: I design and deploy production-grade systems across the full stack—backend services, cloud infrastructure, ML pipelines, and distributed systems. I've worked with Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and SQL to build microservices architectures where performance, reliability, and clean API design aren't aspirational—they're table stakes. Infrastructure & Cloud: I automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS, GCP, GitHub Actions, and CloudFormation. I've built systems that run in cloud and on-prem environments, understanding that different constraints require different solutions. I don't just use cloud platforms—I architect on them with intention.
Machine Learning & AI: I work at the intersection of traditional ML and generative AI. I've built and deployed deep learning models, integrated LLMs into production workflows, and implemented RAG systems that combine retrieval with generation. I understand prompt engineering, AI-powered workflows, and how to apply data-driven techniques where they actually solve problems—not where they're just impressive. Systems Thinking: My background spans FPGA design, data center systems, distributed architectures, and cloud-native development. This breadth gives me the perspective to see problems from multiple angles—understanding constraints at the hardware level while designing abstractions at the application level.
How I Work: I lead technical design discussions, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and mentor peers through complex problems. I've driven projects from initial concept through production deployment, learning what it takes to ship systems that users depend on. I solve problems by going deep, moving fast, and adapting as requirements evolve.
